Budget Monday:
•This month you got a speeding ticket going 51 mph in a 35 zone (16 mph over the posted speed limit). With fees and surcharges, the fee is $365. You have three choices:
1. Pay the fine and add $100 per month to your insurance for the rest of the year.
2. Pay the fine and go to traffic school for $150 extra dollars.
3. Challenge the fine and miss one day of work and then take a chance if you win or lose (lose means the consequence of #1 plus the one day of missed work).
Do not forget to add back in the food!

Budget Monday:
This month your parents came to visit with a car full of supplies from Costco. You now don’t need to buy groceries this month!
Still include all of your expenses from the week off. Do not simply use the same number (or no number) from last week. There should be different costs when you are out of school.

Today is a budget Monday!
•This month you fall ill and have to miss work. You call in sick and miss three days of work. You go to the doctor and have a $25 copay. All of your fixed expenses stay the same, but you do not have any sick days left. Your salary is computed on a 21.5 work days per month. Calculate your daily wage (NET monthly wage / 21.5 * 3) and subtract the three days you missed from your monthly budget.
•
•Make sure you include your weekly (monthly) entertainment, clothing and other expenses.
We are also reviewing the unit one test...if you were out please come during tutorial to review your test.
