•Objective: Students will assess what they know and what they would like to learn about American government by completing a chart.
•Warm up One: What is the purpose of government?
•Due Block One: Read and take notes on Chapter 1 (pages 4-24). Remember: Notes must be handwritten and include definitions. (Tip: perhaps keep them in your class binder...they will be checked for credit at the end of the unit).
